They've looked into tech support and they've confirmed that there are no memory leaks, as they run the game without anything else running. Any advice to get my friends past this so-called input lag they are having, or maybe RS isn't their thing? My friends are accustomed to a reaction time to movement like League of Legends/Diablo 3, and while I agree it's not that fast, I don't think it's game breaking. But at the same time I want to give them the benefit of the doubt, because we've been arguing forever about how RuneScape has always been a lackluster game solely due to input lag.
However I think they're being facetious, and they actually don't want to play and just want to humor me, because my friends have had that same argument for years on end. I'm trying to get my friends to play RuneScape, but they say that the ONLY reason the game is unplayable is because of input lag.Īpparently they have a 1-2 second delay when moving towards a location, even on a world with the lowest ping. If you're playing on a desktop that uses a separate display, you may be experiencing 'input lag', this is a delay between your graphics device sending a frame to your display device.
My purpose of this post is to see if anyone else has this consistent, unfixable input lag in their game, or maybe my friends are just trolling me.
